 Jimmy Donaldson (born May 7 1998), better known as MrBeast in the United States is an American YouTube star. In addition, he is an entrepreneur and philanthropist. [6] He has been recognized as the creator of a type of YouTube videos that centers on costly stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson began posting videos to YouTube in 2012, at the age of 13, under the username "MrBeast6000" and his initial content included everything from "Let's Plays to "videos that estimated the wealth of other YouTubers." In 2017, he became a viral sensation following his "counting to 100,000" video received millions of views in just a few days, and he has become increasingly popular ever since, with the majority of his videos earning hundreds of millions of views.Over time his style of content expanded to include donation and challenge videos that reward millions of dollars, video with tough tasks or survival challenges as well as original video vlogs. Donaldson hired his childhood friends to manage the brand after it started to grow. MrBeast is Donaldson's primary YouTube channel. The channel reached 100 million subscribers on July 28, 2022.
